Christel House South Africa has announced the appointment of Adrienne Marais as its new chief executive officer.
Marais has an extensive and broad-based background in education, not-for-profit management, education management and fundraising.
She previously held the position of CEO of TSiBA Education, an organisation that she co-founded and which provides under-privileged students with full tuition scholarships for study towards a fully accredited BBA degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Under her leadership, TSiBA has awarded more than 1,500 four-year scholarships, produced eight Mandela Rhodes Scholars, four Allan Gray Orbis Scholars and three Kofi Annan Fellows. It has also achieved a post-school employment placement programme of 93 per cent.
