2011 RCI^® Green Award

Thank you for your interest in the 2011 RCI^® Green Award, an initiative to recognize those affiliated resorts that have committed to earth-friendly practices.

The 2011 award winners are Platinum - Sheraton Vistana Resort in orlando, FL; Gold -  Grand Pacific Palisades Resort in Carlsbad, CA; and Silver - Bluegreen Odyssey Dells in Wisconsin Dells, WI.  Additional finalists were Carlsbad Seapointe Resort, Hilton Grand Vacation Club at MarBrisa and Wyndham Santa Barbara.

All of the Onsite Inspections have been completed, and RCI announced the North American Green Award winning resorts at the 2012 ARDA conference. The selection of the winners was totally independent from RCI.  A trusted third party subject matter expert was secrued by RCI that ranked all the applications based on the Self-Assessment Surveys and the results from the Onsite Inspections.

RCI is very excited about Green Award program. We find that our subscribing members are becoming more environmentally aware and see this as an excellent way to recognize leading and innovative practices that:

•   Attract new customers
•   Make a positive difference on the financial bottom line,
•   Inspires other resort managers
