RCI MEXICO HONORED AS A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANY
MEXICO CITY (May 5, 2011) - RCI, the global leader in vacation exchange and one of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), recently received ESR® recognition by the Mexican Philanthropic Center (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) for being a socially responsible company.
Awarded annually in Mexico, ESR distinction is given to companies that publicly and voluntarily perform socially responsible activities as part of their culture and business practices. RCI was recognized in four categories: Quality of life in the company, corporate ethics and governance, engagement with the community and the environment.
RCI has been ranked among the best companies to work for in Mexico as a result of the work/life balance program it offers which includes flexible work hour plans, two personal choice days each year, a nursing room and ongoing employee surveys on the organizational climate and safety procedures. The company also exemplifies a strong code of ethics with annual certifications, quality and transparency certificates and a Diversity and Inclusion program. Earlier this year, RCI was recognized as a Great Place to Work for Women.
RCI is involved in a number of initiatives to benefit the community and environment as well.
