Senior Vice President, Business Development, North America  

Kris Jamtaas is Senior Vice President, Business Development, North America  for RCI, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange and provider of travel services to businesses and consumers, serving 3.8 million members in more than 4,000 vacation ownership resorts.  His sales and service teams have supported RCI’s business partners in North America and Japan for over 10 years.

Jamtaas has more than 20 years experience in the leisure and vacation industry.  He started his career in the private membership camp resort business where he held leadership roles with Thousand Trails, Inc., The Walt Disney Company and Coast to Coast Resorts.  Jamtaas moved into timeshare, working with the Conrad Vacation Club and Costamex International in the areas of marketing and club services.  Prior to joining RCI in 2000, Jamtaas served as a regional vice president with Fairfield Resorts, Inc.

Jamtaas has been an active participant in local, state and national organizations representing the interest of the travel and vacation industry.  He currently serves on the American Resort Developers Association (ARDA) Meetings Committee and various ARDA Councils and support groups.
